Won't be able to touch them until next Wednesday probably. They showed up a bit on the rusty side anyways so prep is gonna take an hour or so at least.

 

Was bored and decided to mess around with my gopro and the moon.

 

How do they look? Except for the missing ballasts, did he do exactly what you asked for?

That was like 7 weeks from when you placed your order?

 

I do not know if he put the correct temp bulb in yet.
sealant around lense is very gloppy and and smeared on back of housing.
Took 7 weeks to the day to get it when originally told 3 weeks.
he forgot my freakin ballasts. (Has not replied back to me)
Dtrl is not blacked out looks yellowish.
Not impressed with pack job on one of the housings having bulb direct against the cardboard.
Overall not terribly impressed.
have no idea if he put the correct temp bulb in.

I have dual yellows. I came home from St. Louis and Frank fired up fine without having to use the second battery.

 

I want to run duals but ran out of room under the hood.

 

Screwed up this afternoon. I was making a new bracket for my CB mount in the ash tray. I hit the stainless with my grinder and wound up buried the metal in the palm of my hand. Not a good afternoon. My wife wants me to go get stitches but I will survive. Its not long but deep enough the fatty tissue keeps squeezing out. Damn it

Been using an optima battery to power our surveying radio for the last year and it's been a beast! goes for days on end compared to others we've used and takes a beating! It's the one that took a tumble off a quad once at 30mph haha! We use a blue top, but regardless they are constructed really well.

 

Woah man! If you're not going to head in for a stitch or two just make sure that sucker is cleeean! Hydrogen peroxide/iodide should do ya. Then...you wait haha

My mom made me go to the doctor a few days after I cut my hand open in high school. All they could do at that point was super glue it anyways.

 

Oh been a fountain of hydrogen peroxide on the cut. My wife keeps cleaning it. Yea I thought of super glue. Just pisses me off I wanted to have my CB all installed tonight. Oh well tomorrow is another day

I remember for a while there Optima batteries has some issues. Yet everybody that actually posts on TW and uses their's in more "extreme" situations than normal have no issues... Haha

I've been looking at Diehard batteries for whenever I finally do duals.
