You ever check out twin scrolls? Much noticeable advantage. On the hot side, the exhaust is segregated IAW the engine sequence so there is no pulse interference. There are two smaller scrolls in the turbo for each set of synced cylinders.
Helps the cylinder's breath a bit better I think :notsure: In the end its the same story. The turbo hot side is where all the traffic gets jammed up. I don't think you will notice a difference between spool and power between the two unless you have a very sensitive butt dyno.

Tube headers are for fabber's (and fappers :p) that love to do tedious fab work, and competition where every HP counts.

Yea twin scrolls are the shit...but damn..pricey. Haha

Yea equal length basically makes the exhaust flow better as it reachs the turbo at the same time....in theory..

Again. Be damn near impossible with our motors..but a straight six it's common. But results are minimal..does look bitchen tho :p

Not true. The design will be the same; the only difference will be at the turbo exhaust flange/collector. I think you just have to isolate the L and R cylinder banks. Even if you have to isolate specific cylinders due to timing, it will just require a little imagination to design the flanged.

Check out post number 12: http://honda-tech.com/welding-fabrication-53/v6-single-turbo-manis-%2Apost-them%2A-2864233/

I meant the tubro..not the headers. They are more expensive haha

The flange is just a divided flange vs undivided.

Just get twin charged and call it a day

Btw, got my new valve cover on last night. Waiting for the RTV to set (its 20* so I'm giving it extra time). Going to do the wiring this weekend and it should be ready for the dyno next week.

    Grows on trees, right? :p

You should move your batteries to your bed and do twin turbo AND the TRD S/C...

Man, Gadget had a built 5VZ for sale when he moved his shop but it was on the west coast. I wanted to buy that thing so bad. I it was a good thing he didn't sell it out here. I'd have a divorce build of my own :p

Anyways, here's the exhaust from blackwidow. It might be a bit louder than I wanted. Monte, I love how your truck sounds, btw; we'll see how this shit sounds next week.

Straight through, no packing or anything. Just hour glass chamber.

Yup, thanks for the recommendation. Inexpensive and very good quality work. Yes, I got it from their site. I liked the sound samples and the price/quality can't be beat. We'll see how it sounds on the truck next week. I got the 300 series.
