Yea Brent I think optima manufacturing countries changed not long ago... The new may not be as good as the old but still cost as much

I have been extreeeemly happy with my diehard I got from sears. It's a big bastard being group 31 marine but it can pull a load on the winch like the truck is on. I literally shut the truck off and tugged a dodge half ton up on a trailer off the battery. Probably was a bad idea but whatevs was a fun test

Should have saved my old batt Josh, not even worth the 15$ they gave me for it on core, boo, gah that was dumb

Yeah, the 34/78 can be made to fit but the positive cable is a bit short by default. It is true that the 34/78 has a few more CCAs that the D35 tho.

 

Yea. Either way. I like the yellowtops. Haven't had an issue so far. My red top was picky though.

Did Mike go with their dual battery system? I know Sanders was having issues but modified it to work....

 

They sent him the bottom half of their tray to test fit when he was at my place.

Didn't work.

i can't remember why it didn't fit..if it was just his battery size or the tray itself..

Got a trans shifter mod done and got the truck on the new alignment turntables after I made some sick ramps lol

After the setup was fun to check my caster and camber super quick. Level surface is a must though with the turntables. waaaaay faster than without them fo sho!

 

Yeah fugly's next venture will probably be suspension overhaul. I'd like to have it worked out by summer time whether it be MT or partial LT. We'll see. Some other miscellaneous things here and there. Need to quit procrastinating and buy a slide hammer and fix more of the dent too.

As far as car mods go I would be pretty content with just some exhaust for a while. Not happening any time soon since it's crunch time for getting prepared for summer but, eventually :stirthepot.
