    its metric..but closer to 2.25

a muffler with a 2.5 will slide over the 2.25 though to make it easy to weld though..i believe anyways.

Woah hold the phone here, just because I don't have some fabbed up armor doesn't mean its basically stock.

"Basically stock weight" is more appropriate.

    lol
My truck is almost completely a DD rig, which is why I havent purchased any armor. (although I do want sliders to destroy the doors of careless people who just fling them open and scratch my paint)

4lo also has some pretty ballin torque for me, I don't rock crawl so I never need it.

I believe it is a 14, gonna measure tomorrow.

OK so are we in agreement, a 2.5 inlet is wise for easy of welding? Or a 2.25?

Mine is rusting and getting louder and raspy. Been on for 6 years though. I am gonna dump it over the axle again, I don't like it being dumped in front of the axle anymore.

Logan, I just looked up the "catback" kit for our truck, the muffler they use is the 14 so why would we not use the 14?

Huh... by "innerds " u mean the Muffin pipe that flows through the actually body of the muffler? If I measure mine tomorrow I'll only be able to measure the od.... should get me a good idea whether the ID was 2.25 or 2.5 eh? ☺

Ah gotcha. Mine is about that old...but no rust. Yay wyo.

Mine is piped all the way out. It's great.

He isn't doing 2.5" pipe all out just the muffler to slip over the stock pipe.

Its not about back pressure problems its about gas velocity. Exausht will move through a bigger pipe slower.

    100% agree.

My 14" dumped is a bit loud on the highway. Really want a 14" catback, but it's about $490....
