He was doing it with Oddessys. A totally different animal. They are much taller. Too tal for our application.

I sent Alex all the details, complete with pics. All I got back was silence. I still have the tray and it has potential with 2 yellow tops but I do not have a top for it. I suspect that what I found and what I told him was not a surprise to him at all. We will see if I get any feedback from him or maybe a top/hold down.

    Front:
-Extended travel CO's..probably ADS or King..whatever..ADS comes with resi's though..and id get the clickers too - $1700?(with clickers)
-UCA's, TC or Camburge or even Icon since they have the cool covers either way - $6-700
    -Super bumpers from wheelers
    -spindle gussets from TC
    -Coil bucket gussets from TC

    Rear:
-TC outboard shock relocation kit. Dude this kit is bitchen. Fits a 10'' shock, but retains stock up travel so no need for new bumps. So you gain down travel without loosing up travel. its perfect! and easy to install. - $400
-TC Hydro bump kit. Also awesome and easy to install. - $350
-Deaver 8 leaf packs or Alcan 8 leafs like the older wheelers leaf packs. -$700?
-ADS or King 10'' shock with resi possibly the clickers? 400-600
-King or Fox hydro bump cans. TC's kit doesn't fit ADS..least not that i know.. $400

Also need 1.25'' Wheel spacers to run the outboard Hydro/Rearshock kit. $200?

Thats pretty much it. Besides maybe boxing the rear frame.

Would be nice if there was some nice replacement boxed LCAs too..i asked Matt at MCM if he could do them and he said yes...for $1500  so...yea..

anyways..looking around what? 5400ish maybe?? so maybe a bit more then a front LT kit. But still..thats the whole truck. Install and start tuning shocks and you'll have one hell of a nice ride and very versatile rig.

I want to run something like that on Igor.

Hmm, you answered just about all of my questions in my head about upgrading if I do MT haha

I'm guessing gussets are more preventative than anything? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

yea..i mean you could easily skip the gussets..

Probably overkill unless you do like to romp it real hard consistently.

And i took the highest prices on stuff too so i probably am on the high side of the budget. I bet if you really priced it out it'll be about 500-800 cheaper..like if you don't do clickers..or even resis on the shocks. no gussets..finding used UCAs..whatever

    all that stuff.

Thats just what id do..and its basically top notch everything cause fuck it. haha

Bigger bike  IF the weather is nice enough for you to ride it enough to justify the purchase. Don't go overboard though just cause some guy on the interwebz says so. Stay within your comfort level.

Awesome.... Again, thank you for posting that! Bookmarked for sure! I've been on the fence between waiting for LT or just doing MT in the next year or so. Still not 100% sure yet, but I will probably be doing quite a bit of highway....
Yeah. 250 is definitely doable, and after riding a Yz426 on supermoto and doing powerwheelies it definitely makes me want one haha

I feel like it would be fun to have my bike be primary vehicle every other year so I can work on the truck....

We may be on to something....

Haha makes complete sense now that you have two!

Sounds like what I'm hoping to go for with mine

Quick question. Any of you have issues with your straps on your RTT that go on the outside of the cover. One of mine ripped, and I'm thinking about cutting them off and just replacing them down the road...

Yea be the most versatile setup i think. Especially with the valve clickers. the ADS ones have 20 clicks. So if you valve it right with flutter stacks and with the clickers, be awesome.

    It ripped?

one of mine's velcro is useless. I just have it tired to the bed rack. Was tired of it coming off on the hwy.

Think they are more of a precaution..

Yeah, I'm definitely planning on going all out with the resies and clickers through ADS in the future.

Yeah, they sent me a replacement cover that would actually fit with the standard ladder and it ripped. But, mine stays out in the sun all day every day.

Both of mine are tied for now haha, but I think i found some replacements. Just a matter of drilling out and replaceing the rivets....

Good to know, that's what most have been saying.
Gotcha, thanks! Might replace them with heavy duty metal buckles instead of straps....

Oh you mean the cover ripped? Call Bobby, i bet he will replace it.

Mine sits out side on the truck year round haha. Its never left the truck hardly. And when it does, it stays out side. The only time its inside is when im wrenching on Frank.

Sorry... Worded that wrong. One of the straps that go on the outside of the cover ripped when I was tightening them one day.

Might replace them with some straps that have heavy duty buckles next Winter when I hopefully have a garage.
