Does Anyone Acually Use the Power Outlet in the Bed????

Had on for 7 long years and never used it. Also never used the Auto LSD but that's a different story.

400 watts maximum when the truck is stopped, 100 watts while running. Good for nothing.

I use it to power the blast pump that inflates the whitewater raft. It also runs the trager's fan and auger when we're truck camping.

 

Blender used to make hot sauce for shrimp at the beach.

 

In my 2010 Taco, I used it to power my printer/scanner while it was wirelessly connected to my laptop (running on battery) and printed, signed, and scanned the contract to buy my house.

Another time on a long road trip, I bungee corded a crockpot back there and cooked beans while driving.

On my new, 2015? Nope. I haven't had a chance to see if it even works but I will very soon.

 

Beans in a crock pot? That's a new one.

 

Use it to plug the hedge trimmer in so I don't have to run 100 miles of extension cord.

 

Inflate air mattress when camping.

 

I use it all the time for the dremel tool and for a soldering iron when I'm working on the truck. Beats running an extension chord.

Use it for lighiting and running my soldering iron when doing the led swaps on people's dashes

 

I plugged my amplifier in it once and jammed out on my guitar.

 

I'd use it more if it were in cab.
