    Evening all...
Hope you can get some relief soon Tom. Back pain isn't fun and when it radiates down the leg is even worse:eek:. Good luck at the doc's.

Any word on how Paul is doing? Prayers going out to him for a speedy recovery.

Here are some pics of the aftermath of the snow. Living in my community is great. Went to bed with the driveway and walks covered with snow and woke up to everything shoveled..

Just hope he knows we're all that thinking of him. Longer road to recovery but it's a road well traveled. They do some amazing things now.
Have to get ready for work...
    My long week.

I just received the email from Sandy, too. I'd been trading emails with Paul but had missed a day or so as we struggled with Charlie's passing.

hope everybody is doing well and Paul is recovering. The thoughts of him, for that matter anybody going through that gives me the shivers. I hate hospitals! Fortunately, I have only ever had to spend two nights in hospital. Around here all of the local hospitals have merge/been taken over by giant health systems. Good/bad? Have a good weekend!

We're keeping the good thoughts and wishes for Paul flowing from here. Sounds like he had been pushing the old ticker pretty hard and it finally needed a tuneup! I hope he comes back feeling better than before. I've heard that can happen with bypasses; suddenly you have more blood flowing than you have in years.

I finally caught the carolina wren on a semi-watchable video.

    Good morning all.

    Welcome new folks!!

I too hope Paul has a quick and satisfactory recovery. And I agree that today's medical technology is amazing .... assuming you're with the right doctors and hospitals. I honestly miss Charlie and Paul's postings.

Hope you guys in the NE get a break on the weather soon.

    Tex

Copied from another post. The cabinet pulls will complement the pulls on all the appliances in color and shape.

The technician came out and measured for the Silestone yesterday. He had a digital specification for the sink I am installing. I was impressed!
The kitchen contractor started to install the drawer and cabinet pulls. He also installed the drawers and shelf's in all the cabinets. The washer and dryer were reinstalled and three cabinets over the washer and dryer were placed.

Now on to some better pics.

Tom, I love the finish on the cabinets and tile floor. And that glass front cabinet is a very nice touch.

Can't wait to see the counter-tops and backsplash. It's coming together very nicely. :)

Kitchen is coming along really well Tom! Thanks for sharing the progress with us.

Is anyone else using YakTrax or something similar? I just found out about them earlier this week and had our local Ace Hardware ship a couple of pairs in from their warehouse. They are GREAT. No more worries about slipping and falling, which I have done twice this winter so far on my ice covered property. I'm a convert.

I keep a pair in the truck all Winter; for about 10 yrs now. We've had people get seriously injured just walking across the parking lot. Very much worth the investment, and then taking the time to put them on when conditions warrant. That was always the hardest thing to get the young people to understand and do.

    Afternoon all:
The guys I ice fish with use Kahtoola micro spikes, little pricey but they work well.

Thanks for the upgrade on Paul, hoping to see him back posting on here soon.
