If you have a stock radio and stock miss and highs. That's about all you're goijg to get. Your best bet is to get a 4 channel amp and aftermarket midst and highs.

So, I went ahead and ordered the Uniden520. After somparing, it seemed to be the unit that best suited my needs and it has very good reviews and ratings. I should be able to install it when I am down for Break. I also ordered a 4' antenna...........before realizing that most have a 3' antenna, so yeah.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Yeah, but I'm too OCD. Those crews where all over the place and not lined up, ugh! Sometimes it really sucks trying to be a perfectionist.

You can maintain your current factory radio. I kept mine, as I do not like to flaunt what I have in my truck. You will need a line output converter to go to an amplifier. Try this first before you replace your factory speakers as you may find this adequate for your needs. I myself replaced all the door speakers and the tweeters. The power that the factory speakers can handle is minimal at best.

So your saying all that you care about in the BMT thread is Juan?!?!

The length of the antenna is not as important as the calibration of the SWR's on the CB itself. This is completed by trimming the wire portion of the antenna if it is a solid wire style or unscrewing the top to adjust or tune. Does your allow this? Such as the one I have listed below?

    Never enough work, lol.

I am planning to install the spacers, the CB, go to meets, sleep, fab up the CB bracket and wash the truck while I am down there.

I am going to mount it out by the tailight. Still am deciding how/where I want to bend the strip.
