I would agree and then just build another pack later when you need it. You can build several sets compared to buying the one. Id say you guys are doing it the better way.

Springs came out awesome! Gained ~1" of lift while dropping to the stock shackles. Ride is better, less body roll, super happy. I'll get a pic of the lovely arch tomorrow for the nay-sayers.

Big thanks to the other Brett for all his help. Don't remember if I saw Eric help, think he was too busy making fun of me.

I'd like to see those packs next to Alcans. They are built to last. Bill has been building springs for like 50+ years for trucks. These things droop like a mofo, and hold 700lbs while riding like a dream. Im not dissing on your home made packs, just saying something to be said for grade A+ proven craftsmanship backed by a guarantee

Yesterday's update on my Truck since having to get towed back to the dealership....

" So far, not much. Codes for the sensor, but the sensor, computer, and wiring, of course, all test just fine. So, the regional technical guy came out and looked at it, and my understanding is that he is going to put a call into engineering and get back with us tomorrow. I will let you know as soon as I know more"

You're welcome, I'm happy with how they turned out too.
Eric did take pics and buy lunch, while he was making fun of you.

The springs that I had were Wheelers 5 packs, AKA Alcans. Given they aren't an expensive custom made pack, but they clearly were saggy and not up to handling my weight. Was not overly impressed with the pack. 3 leaves out of my new pack are Alcans, the other three are Chevy.

Mmmmm.... let just agree to disagree and time will tell. I don't know that mixing different arches, thickness, and spring rate will outlast a set of Alcans. I am sure they are great now but as they wear in that will be the true test.

Anyone know of a shop close to Highlands Ranch that can compress OME coils and drop my 5100s down to 0.0 - They are not installed on my truck at this time, need them lowered to 0.0 before I slap them on.

I disagree with the presumption that I would be willing to agree to disagree.

What if I don't agree to disagree?

What if I want to change my mind, thus agreeing with you entirely?

JPC, take em to pep boys up on quebec, my buddy got his springs swapped out there years ago. Just make sure they keep the rotation of that lower shock eyelet the same!!!

Or do what I said and take em to Toytec when you purchase some sort of rear lift, the AAL you need. Remember :spy:
