    Just bought these on etrailers.com
They are small but have a 500# capacity, and they are black. I plan to use these on the screws over the cubby holes for bungee cord points.
$10.99 plus $2.99 to ship. Not bad.

Anyone have an easy, cheap DIY mod for taking off and storing a truck cap without a tall garage and pulley system? Was thinking about building a platform the height of the bed that I can climb into the bed and get the cap onto my shoulders and then walk it off the back of the truck and onto the platform. Thoughts?

I'd agree if I was looking for some good tie down points to add, but I'm thinking of securing a tote or ammo can or something like that to the side from the wheel wells to the tailgate. Just something to hold a smaller thing to the side of the bed, not hold down a motorcycle or stack of 2x4s.

Again, I'm going to just use the screws holding the side cubbies and the power outlet to secure these in there, two on each side.

I found these when just kind've poking around. I like having nooks and crannies to stash things so I can't wait for these to arrive and I'll follow up with an actual review. These are anywhere from $1-4 each. Got mine on Wish, an app that lets you buy interesting stuff from China and Hong Kong, some of which is complete garbage while other things seem to be reasonably OK but all of which is incredibly cheap. These can be found on EBay. Simple 3M adhesive tape on the outer edges.

Those pre existing screws are nice, just don't over load them. I have my fire extinguisher mounted to them.

That's almost exactly what I did for the hardtop for my wife's jeep behind my shed.

Thought I would throw my ideas out there and pick some brains. Going to be getting my roof rack on soon that I got back in December. I really want a basket of some kind and also a wind fairing. Possibly lights on the front cross beam later down the road also. As always I like to build my stuff rather than spend too much. It's a lot more fun that way. :) I'll take any constructive criticism you guys want to throw at me.

    Wind fairing.
