I might be in for a cab mount chop on the 15th. Also, I have two 58" Thule crossbars and feet for sale. My wife said I can get the prinsu rack if I sell the Thule rack first. Anyone need two more bars to bolster up their setup?

I wouldn't change state resid. unless you're trying to get away from high state income tax in NJ. Since you're mil (now) you don't have to... we can discuss it further if you make it to mod day.
Do some research to see if it will benefit you at all to change. Also, become familiar with this: Servicemembers Civil Relief Act... lots of useful info in there about taxes for mil folks.

You can get CCW here on your PCS orders and mil small arms qual card.

The entire top of my bumper has flaked off. It wasn't like that the other day and noticed it when I got home yesterday. This duplicolor bedliner stuff is crap. I guess I need to strip the whole thing now and prime and paint it. :frusty: I blame Nick

    Need advice.

The guy I scored this bumper from modified the mounting brackets for a 1 1/2" body lift and welded them onto the bumper itself. I've got an angle grinder to grind the outside of the mounting bracket off the bumper but can't reach a strip. Here's a few pics.

How would you guys go about reaching in there to grind the welds out?

I was even thinking about leaving the brackets on and just modifying the bracket holes to fit my truck...bad idea? Would it be too unstable and move around? 1 1/2" is a pretty big jump.

The first pic is the strip that I can't reach the angle grinder into.

Plasma cutter? Air chisel? Oscilating grinder? Or just cut random parts of the bracket down to make it easier to get to?

Brent may be able to reweld the brackets. If anything I'll just call mark from shrockworks and order new brackets. Just wanted to see if I could save them or not
