They have 3m super sticky tape on the backside, took some acetone to the spots where I wanted them first to make it clean. I don't see them coming off ever it's some strong tape

The BRZ is the perfect flexing car. That's why we could not take it to the 4x4 swap-meet. It would have been too tempting of a target.

So how did you end up mounting the rack on the camper?

Anyone have a link or how to for changing the Rear brake line? I've installed new calipers on the front end and bled lines, but I'm a little nervous about this one.

 

Truck got egged last night and it froze by the morning. Don't know who did it. Don't have any known enemies either. Chipped the paint too.

What would you do?

 

Id take that to a detailer.

 

Nice sliders. I've got a set of 4x Innovations sliders as well but haven't gotten them installed yet. do you know what angle they are set at? Trying to decide on mine.

 

Clean it and toss on some touch up paint. I can tell my truck was egged at some point with the previous owner. Can see the paint chips.

 

I tried to find one but never could.

Pretty easy though. For me, there is a little bracket that holds the top of the brake line. I unbolted those two bolts that held together the bracket which allowed me to get to the nut holding the brake line together. USE A FLARE WRENCH! When you get the top of the brake line off use a shaved down golf tee and shove it in there to prevent a lot of brake fluid from dripping out. Bottom is easy to undo. Put it together in reverse order and then bleed the brakes.

Not today but all day yesterday. Getting her prepped for the future wheeling trips this summer.

Took off all skids except the gas tank to touch them up. Man, these things have paid for themselves already. My diff diaper was a bit loose so I have to figure out a way to avoid that in the future.

Then changed front and rear diff fluid. Glad I did it, that stuff came out nasty looking. I am at 150k miles, last time I changed them was right after I bought the truck with 125k. YIKES!

changed out the radiator fluid too. That didnt look to bad.

Changed out the T-case fluid, that looked good too.

funny story, I was going to swap the tranny fluid too....I could not locate the fill plug so I gave up and went inside. While I was taking a shower I said to myself "you dumbass, you have to fill through the dipstick"..hahaha. I'll be doing that and the engine oil later this week..lol

Still have to relocate my windshield resoirver and bolt up all the skids again

saved a ton of cash by doing all this myself

 

They don't look water proof..are they sealed?
