Yes sir, snow wheeling always adds another level of fun! Armor has been put to use and taken quite a few beatings on rocks/trees/etc over the years. It still looks as good as the day they were delivered

Thanks. I'll try and get better photos up of the rear carrier and bumper. That thing is a beauty!

After a long wait it is on.

Brian takes the rattle can to the grill.

    Bumper%20B1_6e23089b05709640b6ebf151f0091ba407f70145.jpg

Made it a lot easier to get the OEM bumper off by putting a clamp on it. Prevented it from dinging up the threads (as we found out the first time).

    Bumper%20B2_2a4dd2365194cb88d93e97d718aca91b067cbfe7.jpg

Bumper on. We put 3 fender washers under the bottom fender bolts and then two each on top for the others.

    Bumper%20B4_7d7e1a44180a517a86a37b8105175d2d4e9a9654.jpg

Here is another shim we added underneath. 1/2 inch plate steel gave a much more solid fit.

    Bumper%20B10_bb31d1c25c0fa44f0641b4eae80f4049feb65b2d.jpg

We also did not have to remove the cross piece but did have to cut it out some for clearance for the winch solenoid. Had plenty of clearance for the Warn M-8000S. Pardon the crappy cutting but sanded it down to prevent any snags.

    Bumper%20B5_4d488bbf7068c2d17f27bb4e401971a9f296b207.jpg

Got the grill back on and starting to put the line on the winch.

Bushwhacker fender flares going back on. Really near the end now as I have had these off for a month or more waiting for the second go-around at putting the bumper on. Actually ended up with a much better fit on one of them that had a gap in it previously.

    Bumper%20B8_b19d7c064a816ff713b8582a416a03c953532ae9.jpg

Pulling Brian's Tacoma up the driveway. Was surprised the winch line was so long (about 50') but had no issues pulling another Tacoma up the drive and installing the line correctly.

A wash job and off to my favorite area to pose my truck (for now anyway). Color for the bumper still was not quite what I wanted but guess I will be satisfied for now. Might give the painter a call although I am sure he is not going to volunteer to reshoot it. No bug-eyed bumper for me!!! The way it conforms to the truck meets all the expectations I had. Already had one person back their car up to ask me about it while at a stop light. Time to hit some trails and start really working out any other issues.

Time to update the Sig!!! Thanks Eric. Know it was a long wait but it was worth it. Meets all my expectations and have a one of a kind bumper that I am sure will make my truck a classic many years to come!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

Welllll, for everybody that asks (popo and security at the Arsenal where I work) I tell them its for the Holy Trinity. If you do a search for threepers you might get closer to the truth.

Thanks again Eric! The rear bumper is by far my favorite piece on the truck! Keep up the good work.
