So this is a 2013 4runner sr5 and we just bought it, i thought it was just over spray from the Armour all they did when they took it in. I should of ran my hand over it but i didnt really notice it. Anyways its hard, like rock hard and is clear, it reminds me of super glue but im unsure what it is. I tried heat from a blow drier and that didnt change it at all. I tried goof off which didnt seem to do anything either. Here are some pictures.

Looks like it's on to stay.

I bet a tube of super glue blew up and splattered or something.

if it is superglue or any of the cyanoacrylate glue, you can easily remove it with acetone, try it in small area first and see if works.

was going say use Q tip but than I realize cyanoacrylate will cause rapid exothermic reaction with cotton.

another thing you try is go to a local RC hobby shop they probably carry CA Debonder which is safe on vinyl. or get it on Amazon

once the glue is diluted with the solvent just wipe it off with a paper towel.

Be careful with acetone around the dash area.
I had some junk on the trim panel under the radio, which didn't come off with usual spray cleaner. I tryed acetone and it took off the silver finish, leaving a dark grey area behind - ARRGH! Barely rubbed it!!

Can't just scrape it off with your finger nails.

    Maybe WD-40?
