I'm running a TLR-1s at 12 o'clock on one of my rifles. I want to change it out for an X300 Ultra one of these days.

I'm not really buying any more gun stuff for a while (other than ammo). Currently I'm waiting for my Beretta 92A1 to come back from Wilson Combat, and I placed an order for a Springfield Custom Shop 9mm Operator 1911. Hopefully I'll have the Beretta back in a month or two (they've had it since September). The 1911 is probably gonna be at least a year though.

    I hate waiting for stuff.

You and me both! And sounds sweet! Never been big into dropping $$ into pistols, but on the ammo yeah I'd buy as much 5.56 as you can right now! Obama is trying to ban green tip Nato's right now! You can't hardly get your hands on the dang stuff with people buying it all up

Yeah between the Beretta and 1911 that is a lot of money. The custom work alone from Wilson is $1k. The 1911 is $2k. At least I have time to pay for the 1911 though.

Yeah I've heard about the M855 thing. Never was a giant fan of it to be honest. Mostly I shoot M193 for range use, and MK262 Mod 1 for self defense and when I want to be accurate.

    Still sucks though.

Ive used both one piece and two piece. One piece are nice if your rail doesn't have the top rail. Ive used Leupold and Nikon M-223 one piece mounts. Have a JP enterprises one piece but its a 35mm so kind of a one off thing. Ive used normal rings as well and they work best if you have the top rail so you can mount a ring to that.

I like the m-223 over the pepr. Both seem about the same price. I don't need the rails on top so I like the smoother look of the m-223
