I thought there was a fill plug for the transmission on the passenger side. towards the top front of the pan. I could be wrong though.

More than likely if it was left overnight it's gonna stain the paint. Wash it good, maybe clay the area, and it might have to be leveled out with a microfiber cutting pad, it'll then need to be polished out.

Just added a towing setup thats almost complete over the weekend.

Best place to get all the proper wiring for towing?

I have a hitch and ball already setup for towing a small trailer a few times a month weighing around 1,200 lbs.

Since basically no first gens came pre wired for towing I would like to set it up like the factory second gens with a little covered plug by the hitch receiver.

Also since im a 5 speed, will i need additional coolers or a brake controller?

Just a generic wiring setup will work. You'll be taping the stock harness. So just need to know what your doing.

Unless your doing a crazy heavy trailer..which we are only rated for like 4000lbs I think? Maybe only 3500..I don't remeber. You won't need trail brake controller. If the trailer has it. Can't hurt.

Your a manual so no cooler needed

Just going to tow a small trailer thats maybe 4 feet wide and 6 feet long with around 1200 lbs max a few times a month with some small freeway hills but mostly flat.

I am not 100% on the license plate relocation yet but its good here for now.

I towed an 6x10 for years daily with lawn equipment. You won't need brake. Just drive smart and use the tranny. Probably barely be able to hit 70 anyways haha especially if it has a ramp.

Its a box design fully enclosed but no ramp, I recently upgraded to tundra brakes and so far that has been a night and day change for the better as far as stopping power and response time goes.

I used to tow a fully loaded trailer 4000 lbs with auto detailing equipment with a full size for 3 years in the early 2000's so I have that common sense of different characteristics in handling and stopping engrained.

I will hit up uhaul and see if they carry the wire harness i need.

Word thanks. Want to go with that bumper, was wondering if you still had it. I probably asked you that a bunch of times already too.

One day... I really should focus on a lift first though.

My eBay versions of what he got are what my rock lights and bed lights are. Definitely waterproof, although the black will turn gold.... Haha

They are, there's a thin plastic Mylar like sheet over the lights themselves that's glued to the housing.
