    Any of you switch from HID to LED headlights or visa versa? Interested in seeing what you prefer. I need to disable my drl's & then do ether HID or LED, but not sure wich I should go with.

    All the mods
    I've had both on different vehicles and prefer LED. LED is easier to install, has zero "warming up" of the bulb, and SHOULD last much longer.

    Had HIDs and then they sh!t out on me and I got LEDs.

    LEDs >>>>>> HIDs hands down.

    LED is the future... HID was a mid way improvement between Halogen and LED, but the warming up needs of HID make it really a poor automotive choice.

    Both cause glare without a projector, and I only know of one proper Bi-LED projector, so I say HID retrofit. :)

    Every car I've ever put HID's in has let me see better & farther at night. May not be pleasant for on coming traffic but I've had better visibility...

    I do agree they are not beeing used to there full potential without the proper projectors/housings but it's still more light being put out & that's not a bad thing!

    You're going to do HID without projectors? On purpose, knowing the light will shit everywhere and blind oncoming drivers and you're cool with that because it's "still more light?"

    Upgrade to projectors then and don't be blatantly ignorant and purposely dangerous. HIDs with projectors, or don't get HIDs.

    BTW, he said its a ricer mod to have HIDs in halogen housings. And it is. Please do it right or don't do it at all. It's a safety issue.
