    enough to go over stuff
I want to do top of the world and 7 mile. Im probably not going to test myself everyday. Some days ill do the easy pretty trails. I plan on going back so no need to roll the truck my first year. Im still a wheeling noob... also a moab noob. I ordered a book on moab trails and a big moab map. I also picked up an offroad GPS. Im hoping to stick with the norcal guys but I may take a couple bypasses or rely on the experts to get me through stuff. Im still learning so Id rather take it slow instead of going in guns blazing.

I'm not sure which trails I want to do. Bob (NYCO) knows the trails like the back of his hand and he will tell you straight up which trails you can handle and which ones to stay away from.

I think the one trail I want to do again is Kane Creek. Maybe Jerry will lead this one again

looks like you have a lot of stuff done! the rest of the stuff doesn't look that bad

It looks like my wife will be coming along for the caravan and the National Parks, but she has to be back before we get into Moab. I'm probably going to leave the group around Wed evening to drop her off at the airport in Salt Lake City, then meet up back with you guys in Moab or wherever you guys are at that point

That's a good list Nick, I've got one too.

    Weld on rear diff protection
    Install crawlbox from inchworm
Build swing out for spare tire
    Mount co2
    Mount swag offroad baja bins
    Purchase RTT

Undecided if I will replace my clutch while I'm doing the cases, I'll take a look at it while I'm in there.

I would do it so 5 months down the down when you decide to do its done and you don't have to crawl under the truck again. Just my two cents...

That sucks. At least she gets to go on part of the trip.

Thats a good list. I need to come up with something for air. I still havent decided if I want an arb compressor or a tank...

Yeah but a little is better than nothing, and SLC is only like 3.5 hours from Capitol Reef National Park, so if we time things right, I can take her after that park. Stan will be riding with me also tho, so I'll have company

You don't necessarily need air for this trip. You can drive into town (which is on the way home or most trails), and air up at any gas station.

Found a place to camp after we visit Bryce. It's halfway between Bryce and Capitol Reef, in Escalante, so it's in line with our proposed route. It's right off the road so the folks with trailers don't have to worry about trekking too far off road

So it can potentially look like this:

Day 1 (Sat): Travel from Bay Area
Night 1 (Sat): 37.203996, -112.671338 (See map: Sands)
Day 2 (Sun): Zion National Park
Night 2 (Sun): 37.203996, -112.671338 (Same as previous night)
Day 3 (Mon): Bryce National Park
Night 3 (Mon): 37.723522, -111.527199 (See map: Escalante)
Day 4 (Tues): Capitol Reef National Park
Night 4 (Tues): Camp somewhere or go straight to Moab (2.5 hr drive)

Days 5 to 9 (Wed-Sun): Moab, Area BFE

This can be the tentative plan, then when we're on the road, we can adjust it to however we like

That's a solid plan! Just curious to those who have gone previously, does anything big happen on Sunday of rock therapy? I'm planning on taking off pretty early Sunday so I can get back by Monday morning. Wondering if I'm going to miss a party bus with strippers or something hahah. Group photo maybe?

Group photo and raffle happens on Sat late afternoon. Everyone just left Moab on Sunday. I left super early like 5AM on that Sunday last year

but then again if you set up the party bus and strippers for Sunday, I'm inclined to stick around for a while ;)
