I actually liked the stock bumper but this looks better...and can hold a winch...and doesn't take the force of a 5th grade girl to rip it off

Btw, Gabe, thanks for talking me into the satin black. It is holding up worlds better than the spray on bed liner had on the sliders. That crap was chipping before I could even get them on! I just need to get some more cans of the paint I used to finish the job and then get the rear on.

 

Yeah, I don't have a place I can let the bumper set for a month and cure . If i did then I might do it...but that's a long time to wait. Plus, my roommate may have chopped my stock bumper into a million pieces and dropped it in the recycling bin before I could tell him to wait for a few days.

 

Cut the tip off last night, at the 1st exhaust flange...



Then decided it wasn't enough, today... so cut it at the downward slope, over the axle. Can't see it all hanging down at all now

 

That's what I plan to do when I put the HC on this weekend.

Belt change??? Anybody know what mileage is the right time to change your serpentine belt. I have 72,000 and mine looks good, but I feel like I should change it. Is this too early or too late??

I did this about 3 years ago and when I went to get eddmissions done they would not test it because were it was cut at stupid DMV had to make a quik extension, keep that end Piece just in case it happens to you, you can clamp it back on..

 

See if it looks wore out or cracked or if it's squealing change it, don't put a cheap one back on itll stretch out in less than a year.
