Enough to make it a lot of fun!
So you don't want to shackle flip on a second gen because the leafs them selfs are not designed to have the shackle that way. If you had the chance to look at his leafs when he had 2inch lift shackles his leafs were bent the wrong way. If you did the flip kit it would do the same way. He has a lot less body roll because he has a properly working leaf pack, that supports the weight in the back of the truck.

Is a Shackle flip different then a "U-bolt" Flip?

    yah.

A u bolt flip determines whether the u is downward or upwards. When it's upwards you have more clearance

Matt it will work if you get a custom leaf pack like Noah and I have from Alcan. But the ultimate gain isn't worth the cost and effort IMO.

So I've been trying to bring my new shocks back to what my 5100's were at .85 when I measued before is was 39.25 from the ground to bottom of fender on the right, and 38.5 on the left. Right now I'm at 39 on the right and 38.25 on the left. Do I just keep cranking up the left? I feel like I've moved it up a lot even though the measurements don't show much movement.

I was reversing the truck out of my driveway and then pulling back in, pretty big lip at the bottom of my driveway. Is that enough?

Hey Jace I read somewhere that you had a real good time taking a ride in Jason's truck. Awesome! :jellydance: I wish I could take ride in that monster.

Check the amount of thread exposed on the shock body. From bottom of threads to the adjusting ring you can only have a max of 2 inches showing. Anything over that will not allow the shock to work correctly and or it might rip apart.
