    I don't imagine I'll be going much over 300hp. Should be fine. When and if i finally do blow something like that, then I'll look into upgrading all the internals

    I mean, there's plenty of people running this SC and the same upgrades I'm talking about (minus the port) with zero issues lol. Just curious how port and polish for 10% extra will suddenly cause catastrophic failure?

    Im not saying it will at all. I really dont know enough about these motors to know what they will handle.

    But its just not nonchalant about blowing a motor. Thats all im trying to say

    With you desired mods listed, you'll be just fine. Toon714 was running his '09+ with the TRD reflash, TRD injectors, and his turbo kit making just over 400 whp, with no issues. Had a safe tune installed later, and kept the RPMs stock, and it stayed strong.

    To go with what the others are saying, just need to have a vigilant eye, and OCD ear. Always ask plenty of questions (which is what you're doing) and follow the paths of those whom have had the greatest success. As well as being prepared mentally for a potential problem.

    Just make sure* (this goes out to all of those adding in the boost) IDGAF what others might say, upgrade the fuel pump off the bat. Cheap insurance, and will make certain that you have a new filter and higher flowing pump than stock. Cheapest insurance for the engine out there.

    Yea, following your thread has taught me alot! These engines are pretty strong until about 400 HP, then it's time to start thinking about upgrading parts. That's not to say something could go wrong, but it would have to be because of something already wrong.

    I'm pretty prepared for the truck being down if something happens. Having a bike plus the wife's car, since she works from home, isn't to bad if I've got to have the truck in the shop for a bit. It's gonna spend it's first few weeks/months on a shop anyhoo for S/C and LT installs :)

    For the record, I was on our side of that argument the whole time, lol. I fully plan on a new fuel pump from day 1, just to keep from going lean if what some people say can't happen with the stock pump, happens.

    Looks like you could use more of the track there around your corners. You've even missed some apexes and there's too much coasting. You should either be braking or accelerating - no coasting. Just some food for thought to help your track times. :cool: Love the build.

    He's got another video as well, from the same day. Short, like this one. Not sure if he has any full length videos. That is Triple Threat. Stock height, on all terrains. That is what is so bad ass. With some slight suspension tuning for the track, those lines would be much easier followed. I have a strong feeling that we might see some more track videos from him in the future. ;)

    Here are pictures of the grinding which had to be done to the fuel rail mounts. As well as the injector harness adapters from www.connectorsfast.com

    You would coast to if you had were driving haha the brakes were smoking after two laps (installed one inch bigger slotted brake rotors and bigger brake calipers to fix that) The corning was tough if you watch the hood aligned with the track along with the engine sound you will noticed lags where I was spinning the tires. I pretty much lost tractions on all the turns which was ok cause it allowed me to go slightly sideways to corner better. I realized the laps when I spin the tires around the turns I got a faster run time I could not get as close as I wanted to on the wide turns because even with the rear shocks dialed in on a stiffer setting and the traction bars I was unable to stay on the closest inside of the wide turns without losing traction. I have MTRs in my garage im just shopping for some rims then ill see what the thing can do along with a "small" engine upgrade over the next couple of months.
    Would links really improve my track time though?

    Links will, if a panhard or something else to limit lateral movement, while cornering. A 4-link will replace the OEM suspension. In most case, it will change the suspension mounting points. Might not matter. Certain forms of racing rules do not allow you to change those. That might matter.

    I think ill skip the rear sway bar and go for a panhard with some other mods and see what it does around a turn im still shopping for front coilovers :D
