Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

It should be. It has all the right people involved, and a built in fan base. The private pilot audience must have loved it for AMC to immediately sign a second season before the first was even presented to the public.

 

So it occurs before the zombie outbreak ?

Yeah, not exactly a prequel, but will show the initial outbreak and follow another group. It is supposed to be the same universe though, so there is supposed to be potential for some cross reference. But I doubt there will ever be any crossover connection as the two groups are have about 2600 miles between them.

 

I don't think they will show a child get killed and Sophia and the teddy bear girl were both walkers already so perhaps that desensitizes it and changes where the line is drawn.

But kids can be killed in the show. Carol killed that little psycho girl.

All AMC has to do is advertise it as having to do with The Walking Dead and itll be a money maker for 2 or 3 seasons even if its crap.

But I am ready for something new. Havent been excited for TWD for the last two seasons. Just watch it cause theres nothing else to watch Monday nights (record it)

Yes but what I'm saying is that it's different when the children are walkers and not humans. I don't think showing the death of a child walker is enough indication that they would show a live child be shot.

Yes this is the point I was trying to make and this is why I said children can still die on the show, but we won't see their brains splattered. Their death will be off screen if too violent. The other kids were just walkers so their deaths were shown.

Two human girls = death off screen (Unless I forgot and her brains were splattered )

Two walker girls = death on screen because they weren't human and the crowd wouldn't be as shocked/offended.

I'm very interested to see where that goes. In the real world I think that kid would tell his mother asap.
