I think most people paint the area black then they contact a vinyl cutter on here and have them make any logo you want.

I use Spieler on TW here for all my vinyl decal needs.

So I decided to knock out the TPMS disappearing sensor light mod today. First off the DIY that was posted isn't completely describing exactly what needs to be done.

First get a putty knife plastic or metal doesn't really matter ( I used a metal one). Slip it under the left side of the A/C controls and pry and that corner will pop out. Then use your hands to pry the right side off then the top right corner and left corner. I then disconnected the harnesses (2). Ok here is the part that I didn't know when reading the other thread. He took off the entire front portion that the A/C vents are in, after taking out the radio. I unscrewed the 4 screws to the radio and just pulled it out far enough to sit it near the passenger seat. I then pull on the right side of the A/C panel/vents and unpoped it from the dash a bit and never could get the left side done, so I just left it like that. You will see the blue sensor box once the A/C controls are out put the harness to it needs to be disconnected which is not to hard using a flat head screw driver to push in the clip and push down. I don't recommend trying to get it with your hand as its at the bottom and you don't have much room to put your hand in there. Once you pop it out then cut the correct wires and use the wire clamp thingy to put it back together. I ended up once everything was complete having my wife use her smaller hands to plug it back in as I couldn't get my hands in there far enough to line it up and push the harness back in. Took me about an hour total. Here are some pics of what it all looks like.

Is it just me or do I spy a little taco lean in the picture of the front outside the house?

 

I freakin hate taco lean haha. I gotta fix mine cause its driving me nuts

 

Probably it doesn't bother me any and I never corrected it. Just .5 inch spacers on each side along with the 885 coils

 

it bothered the hell outa me lol, I got the coilovers cranked up and now I think the front is a bit higher than the rear and the driver side is a bit higher now haha. I need to get the front lowered again, I love the leveled look (and the taco lean fixed too haha)

yeah I can't stand the front of a truck to be higher than the rear. My hybrid bumper will probably lower my front end a bit more. I really need to raise the front another half inch to level it out but don't wanna take apart anything else on the front. Those damn uca's were a pain.

 

I should have done a half inch on the passenger side and a 3/4" on the driver side. Oh well something to do over at some point

 

Did you get extended top plate mounting bolts?

 

They came with the spacers that I bought from someone off here

Oh I had to press them and beat them out. It was biatchhhhhh. I had to go to Advanced Auto parts to press them in with their torque gun in the back that they let me use.

 

Oh haha, okay. I'll see, I may be fine with the lift that 885s give with stock bumpers and weight. How much lift you got now with 1/2" spacers?

And when istalling them, you're supposed to have the coil end at the top facing out?
