    I hope Rick keeps his hand. Tired of him losing to the antagonist. I guess that's not a total loss but still a loss.

    If I remember right, on the Talking Dead the creator and writers have said Rick won't lose his arm like the comic Rick.

    You're right. Robert Kirkman said on Talking Dead a few seasons back that he always regretted Rick having his hand cut off so he wasn't gonna go that route with the show. Just a guess, but I think that's why they went with Herschel loosing his lower leg instead.

    No, members in this thread hypothesized that he would end up with the gay guy after fixing the bike if his partner died. Things in TV shows like this usually happen for a reason revealed later.

    Secondly writers stated they considered making Daryl gay a few months ago.

    Finally, the hide your husband joke led me to believe there might be a consensus in this thread. I'm just asking if someone knows or if it's just rumor.

    I think he said it was because he felt that it restricted him and for the show he said it posed too much of a challenge for Andrew Lincoln to relearn everything on his left hand when he's right handed. They would just chock it up to be another way they diverted from the comics to throw fans off. I mean, technically, Carl should have lost his eye well before Terminus. My reasoning could be wrong though. The episode of The Talking Dead with Kirkman was so many seasons ago that it's vague for me to remember.

    The Talking Dead after the mid-season finale had a guest on there, can't remember his name, but he said that Daryl was not gay, however, they would be introducing a gay couple in the other half of the season. But that doesn't mean it can't change. I doubt they would give something like that away months and months before it happened.
