Red Cloud just outside DC, Rausch in PA. Those are the two close ones. Green Ridge closed their ORV trails, I learned this after driving 3 hours out there... Still a nice place to visit/hike/camp. There is NOTHING in Delaware, trust me, i grew up there. There is a place in WV but I can't remember what it is called.

Haha, okay, you did nail the 2 parts we do love about the state. Even being military the pay is phenomenal, we completely understand the theory behind belt hoping; also it is very nice being so close to everything, I gotta give you that too, I think we'd just rather live in the mountains or on the beach....or in a corn field haha.

Anyways, my name is Scott. Once the 2016 specs drop and I decide if I want to upgrade or not I'll likely be contacting you. Being in Bowie it sounds like you're on the right side of Baltimore ;)

Oh damn.... I want in on that too haha. I don't have any big plans yet for my truck, but I'd love to come drink beer and help with the fab work.

Well Scott, I have some potential bad news for all. I'm under contract on a house back on the eastern shore... I wanted to finally buy a house with a large garage and some yard for the dogs. I just can't afford what I want over on this side of the bridge. With that being said, I will still be working in South Baltimore and my new place (if I get it, damn short sales) will only be 40 minutes from Bay Bridge.

Nice. I am waiting for the specs to be released on the 6 cyl Taco as well. I am considering upgrading to a Double Cab. Don't need a 6 cyl but as we all know Taco's don't come in DC 4x4 in a 4 cyl.

Oh, that's not terrible news; that's a nice little drive and it would be well worth it given the good reputation you seem to have here.

If only it was a tan softopper for a short bed. I'd be all over it in a heartbeat :(

In other news, I think I've finally decided I'm going for the softopper. So if anyone wants a good condition roll up tonneau for a short bed let me know.. I'll be putting up an official for sale thread tonight probably. I'd like to keep it local just because it'd be a bitch and a half to ship I think.

Has anyone had any experience working with a regional tech at toyota? I dropped my Taco off Saturday and they've been keeping it all week for the regional tech to come in and look at it. All for a thud in the rear over bumps (sometimes a metal clunk) and a vibration in my front end that goes away in 4wd.

Why did they close the ORV trails? Did the environmentalists win again??

Welcome. Don't know how you could give up the freedoms of VA for MD but welcome anyway!

Sometimes, i wonder if they even know what they're doing.
