    Panther Burns: His band, named after a notorious plantation.

    It's wild and out there. Definitely listen if you're into pre-psychobilly. Think Cramps but more southern, less pop. Bands like The Black Lips and pretty much any dirty Memphis garage rock owe to Tav Falco:

    RL is the man! The Black Keys owe their career to him. There's a great documentary out that features RL, T Modrl Ford and others. I think Fat Possum out it out. I have it at home but the name escapes me.

    RL is the man! But the person the Black Keys ripped A TON of stuff from is this guy, Junior Kimbrough. They "re-did" a shit ton of his songs... His music is damn good and you can definitely tell where Dan Auerbach got his voice and style from. Read up on Juniors life, interesting to say the least. He had over 30 children:eek:.
