    Hey Fightnfire!

After all SHIT you talked about Graham for as long as I can remember - looks like you'll be telling us how great he is now!

Just giving you a hard time. I laughed my a$$ off when the Saints traded him to you guys. He will probably get better now. Saints do need to focus on D, but trade Graham? Saints are definitely shaking the team up.

There are no Seahawk fans in my work area, i had to contain myself until i got off to express my take on the Graham trade.

    WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Max Unger was great, im sad to see him go, best of luck to him, at least he has a ring from us =D

But i was getting ticked off watching Russell scramble for 10 seconds with no options to throw to on more than a few occaisons, Jimmy will hopefully be as big a boost to our offense as it looks like on paper!!!

Had been scanning Google Sports section for days reading NFL headlines, the Hawks were quiet, then BOOM =D

Real excited to see how this works with a huge percentage of our team intact!

What I have always said about Graham is that he is soft, might have called him a pussy a time or two. I still think that. There's no doubt he's soft.

However, I also referred to the Saints in general as soft and they are one of the "softer" teams in the league. They can't handle getting smacked in the mouth. I think the Hawks will toughen up Graham. Well it will either toughen him up or he'll be shipped out like some of the others.

Practicing everyday against the likes of Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Bobby Wagner and Bruce Irvin will either toughen you up or spit you out. Also, the WR's practice very hard.. Percy couldn't hack it, neither could a few of their draft picks. The WR group defined in one word: Grit.

I will say he has a chance to flourish big time and should immediately make the team better by helping Baldwin, Kearse and others get open.

I'm excited and not too worried about losing Unger.

felt sick to my stomach last night as the news broke.

I cannot hate Revis, the man helped us win a SB, but at the same time, hope we beat him every time, twice a year with Gronk and Jules.

    yea, I'm butt hurt

Seahawks are a running team and they're messing with their O-line to get a TE that doesn't block... We'll see how that shakes out

They have beastmode, he doesn't need an o-line

In all seriousness, I think this was a great pickup by Seattle. One of their few flaws was the redzone last season, and with Jimmy Graham, that's no longer the case. Defenses are going to have a tough time between keeping an eye on Graham and Lynch/Wilson, especially since they love to run the option.

Not much of a Seattle fan, but they seriously took advantage of the Saints garbage cap room situation.

That looks good as a headline but you need to dig deeper into the story.

Max Unger missed most of this season and some of last year. He's a great center but he seems to be aging quick. We was a pro-bowler twice and an all-pro once. Most people think when he was in there he wasn't playing to the level he did in 2012.

Also, the Seahawks didn't have a "blocking" TE for all of 2014. Zach Miller is a beast for blocking, one of the best blocking TE's in the league. He only played in 3 games last year and missed substantial games in 2013 as well.

His replacement Luke Willson can't block at all.

There was speculation, before the trade, that Unger was going to be cut. The players we're talking about out here being cut are Unger, Mebane, Miller etc. Because of that, I think there's a second move coming... most likely to bring in a veteran C to help teach Lewis the position. The are really high on Lewis as he did great in backing up Unger.

The addition of a huge weapon, Russel's first true #1 target could help this team tremendously if Jimmy can fit in. If not, it could be another Harvin situation. However, Graham seems to be a really good team mate as opposed to Harvin to wears out his welcome everywhere he goes. So, I'm not too worried about it. Harvin isn't a #1 option imo, he's a gimmick type, not a dependable #1 target.

I was shocked NO did the trade and even more shocked they threw in a 4th rounder... 4th round picks are gold for Schneider/Carroll. That makes their 1st round picks not nearly as valuable to them as they are to other teams.

This would be the proof needed that Benson lost his shit and Loomis is a closet meth-head. The kids would get the franchise and you'd turn into the Bengals 2.0...slightly enhanced continual mediocrity sells tickets.

True story... Brees is like Jesus in NO. He is the state bird, state flag, state flower, and mayor and governor. No way in hell is that going down.
