Well that was a bit off. I also had them replace the windshield so maybe $300 (but that's not much better). This was the only "shop" work I've had on the truck; I was in a bind because I had to travel to CA before the trip to big dogs. Oh well, lesson learned.

Im ordering King shocks now and getting rid of the FOA's. They aren't too bad if you ignore the occasional leak :p

Got the exhaust on today :woot: The dyno was postponed until tomorrow. They couldn't get the truck strapped down tight enough without the shocks  Took it to Production and should have it done by noon tomorrow. Ramy built is just down the road so Ill drive it straight over there and get it tuned.

The welds. These guys do amazing work. Pure professionals and deff recommended if you are in the 757. The work cost around $700 total; $520 for labor.

A little flex action to make sure the shock mounts are perfect. Measured the front tire at 20"

Boooo. Holding out on me lol. Jus kidding. Keep in mind on the dyno, the sound of rollers can lap the sound of your muffler. Should make a start up vid with some revs. Looking forward to your dyno!

Looks good though! Piping the pipe all the way out will make it a bit quieter in the cab too. FYI.

To be honest, it sounds great. Just didn't want to attract too much attention :notsure: (too late for that I guess :p)

Damn, I guess I'm getting old and so used to complaining about those damn kids and their loud ass exhaust. Now I'm one of them

I'm with you there dude... unless it's a 500+HP beast, it should be somewhat quiet. I'm not sure if you've seen my thread lately but I put a small glasspack after everything and my truck sounds awesome. No drone at all but she definetely talks back when I get on the pedal.

Sorry everyone, another let down, but shit really hit the fan today.

First, picked up the truck at Production Offroad after the shock work and they wanted to charge me and additional $350  Fuckers!! And then they were like, we're charging you half, it should have been $600 from the labor. The guy was like, "what are we to do? We can't give you three jobs for the price of one." I told him he should have done it right the first time. What a fucken novelty!! Anyways, I talked it over with Jeff (the owner) and got refunded but FUCK I was upset. I have a feeling some ppl got a good talk from Jeff after I left. He wasn't happy either.

Second, AFR's are all over the damn place. Finally popped a P1135 code and just ordered a new A/F sensor. Should get that Saturday. Currently running in the 15's if Im lucky and idles at 17ish.

Third, my trans decided to act up all of a sudden and throw a Shift Solenoid code. Wouldn't engage the lock up clutch, wouldn't shit into 1st (would always launch in 2nd which almost killed me as I limped through an intersection) and wouldn't go into reverse. I though I killed the transmission until I remember it did the same thing when I had the Ultra Gauge and FIC installed at the same time. So I ripped out the FIC and its driving good now *WHEW*. All the wiring looked ok upon initial inspection, I'm guessing the unit when bad :notsure:

    Goodnight folks. Its always something!!!
