I bought this off a tacomaworld member a few months ago. Here is his writeup on it http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/12070-first-gen-hood-bulge-progress.html

I lost my job this week and could use the money. I'm asking $300 plus shipping for it. If I ship it I will buy insurance for it. If it gets damaged during shipping I will refund your money (since I can't go buy a replacement) I will go check shipping to how much it would be to ship to you if you are interested in buying it. I saw a few similar hoods on ebay that shipped for $110.00.

PM me with any questions. The hood is the candy apple red color.

No not functional. That was my original plan when I bought it but it is not in a location to get any amount of air. I attached a boost gauge up to it and even at 90 mph got nothing. Its just meant for looks really. If it was functional I wouldn't be able to part with it probably.

I know this is a very old post....

I hope you recovered fast from the situation you were in.

Do you still have the hood? I'm interested.

:anonymous: I truly hope that OP has found a new job by now and I doubt he still has the hood, almost 14 years later. I'm just hoping OP is still alive and in good health.
