Can't drive it to see. I don't have a bad vibe other than right at take off which I am assuming is axle wrap vice an actual vibe. Gonna see what this does.

Timbrens look fantastic. I got some shit for spending the $ but, well worth it imo.
I have the same vibe and it's Def axle wrap. It is so minor that I rarely if ever notice or care about it.

My vibe has to to be a wheel out of balance, wheel bearing or the clamshell needle bearing shitting the bed. It gets pretty violent at like 55-60

And where did you purchase the shackle from?

 

Defined engineering makes a shackle with almost no lift and ATO will be releasing one soon supposedly

What did you use on the edge of your fenders after you trimmed? I've noticed people have put some kind of rubber around it but I don't really know what to do after I cut them.

 

Im still waiting to see what ATO is going to come out with. The stock ones are woking fine for me right now. I def sitting ass hight though so do not want to at any more height. We shall see

Finally finished up the second jerry can mount...got enough steel for 1 more if anyone needs one...or maybe I make a bed version for more waters....

 

Mounts look good. Guess your welding buddys know what they're doin, looks clean not over lapping the metal.

 

Yeah they gave me some advice and now I use less material, looks better and is much lighter. Plus my welds are looking better.

Are you still happy with the ARB refer mount location?
Question, without measuring or thinking too hard, I am considering 2 options for mine when I get it.
I am thinking of mounting the slide on the back of the rear passenger seat. So when it is folded and locked down I can install it so it slides out when the door is open(maybe the refer is too big?)
Otherwise, I am going to remove the rear seats and build a platform and use the rear for storage.

Any thoughts on the first option would be appreciated.

 

I am very happy with it being back in the bed for a few reasons.

I get to keep my interior 100% available to my 4 dogs, it is right where I am cooking on the tailgate and I can grab a beer while BSing.

I have seen the in cab setups but these things require some space above to open so without removing the seats I doubt you will be able to easily access it so a platform would work best in my mind.

Why does the bed mounting not work for you?

 

Problem with in the cab is the door needs opened every time you want in the cooler and you lose passenger space

 

Thanks. Well, it would work in the bed. I may be over thinking this. I like the idea of the fridge out of the elements and less to advertise on our trips into larger cities when on the road.

Good point. I honestly do not need passenger space. Kids are grown and is just the wife and I again. I bought the dc again for the interior room, comfort and storage for longer trips...not to mention it just looks right .
