Picked up some 4" stroke ADS Air Bumps with cans off craigslist for $350. Anyone have a quality photo of air bumps welded on with a camburg long travel setup on a 1st gen?

Odd, i've seen a TC kit get beat up really bad on a Tundra and not transfer the problems into the rack.

i think its a combo of things
Im strapped a little long for the steering and
main problem was the jam nuts on the new tie rods i built came loose, fucked the toe and must have messed with the geometry, then i smashed into a decent rut sideways coming over a crest and the rest was history. cracked completely in half at the middle. front end felt perfect until it came loose. lifetime warranty rack now for sure, this one was a junkyard rack that was who knows how old and went through who knows what haha

Invest in an OEM rack. It sucks paying up front but definitely worth the piece of mind

Got pictures of the carnage? Loose tie rod nuts shouldn't have messed with the geometry, at least not enough to notice or break a rack.

yeah ill post one later when i'm not at work
i figure it threw it off enough to give it lots of bump steer. then the force of jumping sideways into a rut probably pulled each tie rod away from the other and tore the rack in half.

really think an oem rack will be much stronger? I also tried one but the seals blew pretty quick, granted it was a junkyard one. I figure 400 for oreillys reman rack and a lifetime warranty is the best peace of mind i will be able to find

I got mine from vatozone and have the lifetime warranty on it. I have a dead spot I have felt recently. But has held up to a beating so far.
