Quirt, when you finally get a manual in for dyno, do it in 4th gear. It isn't 1:1, but it is close. 1:1 is 5th. However, speed cut will likely kick in before the dyno pull is finished, if done in 5th gear, and the governor hasn't been removed. So in 99% of cases on these transmissions, 4th is the best gear.

Wait for someone with a manual to dyno. If you want to see a graph.

Have a datalogging device of your own. If you have a pre '09+, that can be a UCON or X-1. After that year model, a datalogging scan tool will work. Minus a wire-in EMS.

You were warned that the Taco auto tranny was a known dyno issue, but did you listen? No.

Just ordered the Q1 for my 2012.

I'm running really rich (during WOT) with the TRD SC and reflash, let's see if this brings me to a better place :).

Never heard back from Jon about the 2010 V6 Camaro. Any idea if you have anything available?

I'm sure this has been covered, but can this be used with a CAI?

They make the same mathematical change to the ECU so if you put the two together then it would run too lean.

    What about a 1st gen Tacoma 3.4 V6...

Would the deck plate mod affect anything?

You should really add the assumption that this "change" is based on the CAI diameter at the MAF being larger then stock. If the diameter is the same, the EB may help, assuming it does help to begin with :D

"most" of the Tacoma CAIs use the same diameter in order to ensure that the MAF sensor reads as stock. The Volant was known to be different, and the Gen2 TRD CAI was known to have some flow delta differences.

I have the Volant with air scoop and i'm wondering if the Q1 with stock intake will be better or worse. My MPG is pretty shitty, looking to bump it up a bit.

Interesting, I assumed that the CAI on these vehicles had a larger ID than the OEM unit. My bad

In that case, if the ID is the same as the stock unit then our EB will work as designed.

    Thanks Lurker :p

Measure it to see what the difference is and let us know the percentage of change.

I just tried to install Q1 into my afe intake. No go. The maf on the afe is already spaced out about a 1/4" with plastic spacers. So the provided screws are not long enough. Should I find longer screws and put it on? Or it'll be spaced out too far and lean out?
