2015 AMA Supercross Thread

Great race! When dungey had enough and just absolutely flew by short! Tomac wheeling those whoops and Reed spinning out again. I clapped.

 

Tomac has 90% of what he needs to be great - but that guy has to learn how to start a main. Every week it seems he battles back to a top 5 from a 15th place start.

Completely backwards to Alessi - who gets the holeshot damn near every week and then is a rolling roadblock for the leaders by lap 2.

If Tomac could start like Alessi, and then ride the rest of the race like himself, he'd be a real force.

 

I think everyone wishes they could start like Alessi. That dude is a rocket off the line.

Oh was he all the way back in 20th? I didnt know he was that far behind......so yeah he rode really good then!! I hit the track yesterday for a few hours and man I must be getting old cause I was beat and sore by the end of the day!! Either that or I rode hard haha!

 

That kid Dakota Alix got a mention in a recent RacerX post online. Somebody in this thread said they knew that kid. He got 18th in Daytona. Wish him a good solid ride in Indy. So Kroc is out for next few races, man that sucks, bye bye title. I think he should heal up and not push it too hard in SX, and then be super strong and healed for MX.

 

Yea he was a part of the tangle at the beginning, I think he might have gone down but they didn't show it. Yea my back always seems to be super sore after a track day Lol

 

Looks like Roczen got injured pretty good and since its a re-injury and only 7 races remaining in the 2015 season I'm not sure he will even be back. If anything he needs to rest and prepare himself for the outdoor nationals.

I remember he didnt get the greatest whole shot. I hadnt been on a track in a while so I think I just overdid it cause I was having to much fun haha!!

 

Going to race tomorrow at Lucas Oil Stadium! Ill try and snag some good photos if possible.

 

Too bad Vicki Golden didn't qualify, she missed qualifying by 2 positions. Close.

If Dungey and Musquin both win again that will be a 3peat for both! I don't think thats been done in a while.

 

Well tonight was a bummer for Jeremy Martin for sure... It was a super tough track! Tons of riders going down those whoops were intense. It was interesting seeing Tomac, as a lapper, make a pass on Dungey as the leader. And as usual Canard's start got the best of him... Still made a solid push to 3rd though.

 

Albertson out for the season with a shoulder injury. He needs surgery to get it fixed. Bummed about that.

And as usual the KTM boys clean up. Can't believe J Mart missed the main. Those woops were brutal.

 

I didn't see what happened to Albertson. When did he crash?

 

Sorry guys - my DVR spazzed out right before the 450 main - what happened to Tomac?

 

In practice. Badly dislocated shoulder and he needs surgery.

 

He went down early, eventually got lapped by Dungey and then passed him back on the final lap so he wouldn't be a lap down.

Nice Mr Ribby, looks like you had a great view! Cant believe the gap MM25 had on second place Bogle in the 250 Main, what was it like 20 seconds?! How about the Honda sweep in the 250's?! Hondas took 2nd through 10th!

 

I'm a fan of either Ryan Dungey or Chad Reed. Sucks that Villopoto is in Europe now
