At that I'd not buy another vehicle. You'd save about 5-10 bucks a day in fuel bit balance that against insurance, reg, another vehicle to maintain

Yup I forgot NH doesn't require it. Still I think guessing you hit around 20mpg with the Tacoma, you'd need to buy a car that gets about 40 to see any real savings after you factor in the purchase and taxes..plus it's not like you're buying an almost new car so you will have in theory more frequent issues..

Looks good, have you thought about doing the silver bumper parts black like the trailteam ones?

You should keep insurance on anything you're driving, then. If (god forbid) you're in an at-fault accident without insurance, then they can go after your assets (like your house) instead. Especially if there's medical issues or they decide to sue.

Edit: I realize that 'no insurance' is legal in NH, but it's a big risk, especially if you make decent money and have your own house. A buddy of mine lives in Rochester and went no insurance for a couple of years until he bought a house and his title lawyer mentioned that he might want to get insurance again. Spoke to his regular lawyer and they gave him some examples of people that had hit somebody, then lost everything and spent the next 50 years paying back somebody's medical bills. Scared him shitless and he insured up. A few months later he slid through a stoplight during a snow storm and whacked somebody's brand new BMW 7 series. Insurance covered the $15K+ for a new door, a front fender, hood, bumper, trim, etc (plus the new front bumper, grill, hood, and fenders on his truck, less his $500 deductible). If he hadn't had it he'd have had to take out a home equity line on his house to cover the damages, which would have been hard to do since he was pretty much breaking even (or maybe even a little upside down) after the housing crash.

Obviously his story's not typical, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. :notsure:

Still does. Down a steep hill, with a tailwind!

I'm getting a custom bumper in a few weeks (hopefully)

I paid the guy $900 and he's posting photos of a Harley project he's working on, during the work week, and he's ignoring my messages.

Why not get a bumper from a reputable vendor?
