I was thinking you could have the aluminum tube centered on the same horizontal plane as the roof rack bars. Get a wider u bolt and have only 1 end go through the al part.

I found one that's mounted to a trailer hitch cover.

That would be perfect but I am tooting around in a 4banger that didnt come with a tow hitch. I was thinking of buying one but then thought that I may do the high clearance bumper and dont want to but one and then get rid of it down the road. But could you post a link to it? Just in case I do install one soon.

    Just a few LEDs...
My guess is that it's a big water spot left from where the dome light heated the roof and dried the dew/rain that was there.

I bought this for the swing arm of my motorcycle and it works great, but now I have saddlebags. This is about $20 or less online or at the local Army/Navy store. Has MOLLE on the outside, front and back, some elastic webbing inside, zippered pockets and organizer areas. Works GREAT in the glovebox. Holds my flashlight, registration ppwk, screwdrivers, tire gauge, pens, notepads, and a whole bunch more.

    Condoroutdoor.com, called the MA54 t&t pouch.

Really stupid, really simple, but really effective -

I got tired of my hockey sticks banging around in the bed so I whipped that up in about 2 minutes.

Yup. Years of abuse from three different mag mounts have taken their toll. I have bunch of paint chips and rust near the front of the roof also. Need to do something about it this summer.
