DO NOT EVER DO THIS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ENGINE !!!!

Never, ever use high pressure washers to spray in and around gasket areas, especially when the integrity of the gasket/seal is in question !!!

    Oh ok..

Yeah, with high pressure, very bad idea, unless you don't mind water mixed in with your oil

I would never use high pressure on a late model engine... Garden hose pressure is one thing, it usually doesn't go over 50psi... 1800psi or above from a pressure washer ? No thanks, too much risk

And more sensors throughout the engine

I don't know much though, don't take my word.... rebuilt my first engine at age 9 and grew up around my dad who's a retired mechanic after 40 years.... no recommendations you can count on from this direction.... point that nozzle and let'er rip tater chip !!!

Nice work, make sure you get in real close to get that dirt off

I said it was high risk, not that you'd have problems ;)

I had the same issue, from the sounds of it. And replaced the same parts, with the same parts you used from the sound of it. But i still have a rough idle. What is a vcg though...?

My rough idle came back. No clue what it could be. Vcg is valve cover gaskets for short.

I'd assume it's the IAC that's causing it for me due to me not cleaning it since I've owned it. I'll give it a shot when I get some free time
