Not full, he's got $450. It's through PayPal as an invoice, so if he goes on the lam, I can dispute through PayPal and get my money back.

He just got back to me, and he's in the process of getting an FJ to build my bumper off of. He's starting it tomorrow! :woot:

I don't know anyone who's owned a VW of that vintage that doesn't have headaches from them.

What about buying something like a base Nissan Versa. They're the cheapest new car in the US and then you get a warranty and don't have to deal with broken parts.

There was a point where I thought I was going to be working in Burlington and one of those would have made sense. It was $9,999 brand new, 5MT, no radio, AC or ABS. I would have added the AC but there was a level of purity about an absolute base model that intrigued me for some reason.

Hey man I was just throwing it up there! It's cheap (minus weekly repairs) and efficient.

Morning all. I had some good melting at the house yesterday. I can see grass right next to driveway. The piles are getting smaller everyday and I can't wait till its gone and I can start cleaning the yard and putting some fertilizer down. I hope I can get to my burn pile before the window to burn is closed.

    Because Alex.

I can see my driveway.... :notsure:

We've had some good melting here over the last few days (until yesterday; didn't get about 30 yesterday), but I've still got feet of snow everywhere, and we're getting more tomorrow. I'm not seeing my lawn any time soon.

    Amen!

Looking forward to getting a nice green lawn this year. I have battled with it for the past two summers and this year I will finally win.

I'm glad this is working out but in the future, don't expect Paypal to do anything on your behalf if you get screwed in a purchase. Paypal is not going to protect you in any way, shape or form. Many of the group buys on here that went sour and people lost money were paid through Paypal. Read their fine print, they are not there to act in your best interest, just as a means to transfer funds.

Truth. I think they may make a minimal effort if you raise a stink, but ultimately they won't do much.

I gave upa few years ago. I embrace the crab grass and bare spots, because I don't discriminate. All grass is beautiful

I also try not to use fertilizer since I live on a lake. Phosphates and nitrogen aren't good for the hatchery behind my house or any potential bacterial/algae growth

Crab grass is green and doesn't die off easily, I'm all set with crab grass. Grass is just a weed anyways, who am I to discriminate?

Exactly. It doesn't look that bad when you let it grow for a but then mow it

Scatter some pelletized lime right before a rain storm. It'll break the poodle mines down faster and cut down on the smell.

Or just clean up the piles and get them off the lawn.

My dad's dog is awesome, dog sprints to the woods everytime he needs to drop a deuce.

Question for you guys. If you were to buy an aftermarket exhaust for the Tacoma, would you just go with the TRD?

It would take a long time to break his crap down. I just pick it up and toss it into the neighbors yard.
