I'm trying to take my resi off of the power steering (so I can clean the screen today it got worse over night), do I need to pump all of the fluid out or leave it in so no air gets in? Would be great to get some quick answers (I'm research right now too) as I'm going to try and flush the system next few hours

Hmm so my cig lighter has been out for a while and from what I remember I tried changing the fuse in the dash and it didn't do anything.. Any ideas on what else it could be?

Mine was burnt (wire) at the socket connection. Pull the socket out and check the back maybe. I think I had to solder a new wire in place, it was awhile back though so i have no pics.

Regarding the cig lighter issue, you could also try the 'Pwr Outlet' fuse under the hood. In my 1999 model, in addition to the cig lighter, there are 2 power outlets that look just like a cig lighter. Those have there own separate relay, and fuse.

I run synthetic. I was going to go with Mobile 1 but they were all out. So I went with Castrol
