Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Money being no object and if were adding other performance modifications, I'd probably have gotten the URD exhaust and crossover pipe. If all you want is a little more noise when you put the skinny pedal down, I'd go with the TRD.

Yeah, really just looking for a little more noise. I realize exhaust and intake make negligible difference on these trucks, so I think I'll just stick with the TRD exhaust.

Some people just had a new can cut in. They used Lou's Custom Exhaust, seemed to do a good job, relatively inexpensive and sounded decent. It might be worth looking into something like that.

But PayPal loves to talk about their buyer protection.

Worst case, I have his home address. :drevil:

I have the TRD exhaust and love it. Nice tone and you only hear it in the truck when you step on it

Someone had to do it. And I figured, I am the perfect man for the job.

I actually have a budget for lawn stuff this year, which I'm excited about. I'm going with the Scotts Pro Four Step this year, see what happens. I've read nothing but good about the full system. I need to spend some time figuring out the right amount to water. My yard has full irrigation with a well, so there's no reason I can't keep it green. I think last year I overwatered it.

They must not have gone to the Lou's near me. When I had my Accord I asked them to do some piping and weld a muffler I had onto it, and they wanted to charge more than a high end cat back to do it. The only cars I see those stickers on is brodozers and short-cutted Civics.

Maybe the shops in other ares are better.

If I'm not mistaken, they went to one in NH. You're talking about the one down in Taunton, right?

The one in North Reading is run by the owner's son. Great prices and great work. Never had an issue with them

I went to the one that was in Brockton maybe 10 years ago now. I had the muffler and they wanted $600 for crushbent piping welded to my muffler with no guarantee it wouldn't sound raspy. All the Hondas/Toyotas/Nissans that have their stickers sound like a weed whacker having a seizure.

I went with A'pex-i World Sport for $435 and it was full mandrel bent and I sold the muffler I had for more than I paid (used).

I think I'm showing my age, there are very, very few exhausts that sound good to me these days. My Subaru is really loud and while I won't change it to something quiet, if I were to swap cars this summer, I don't really have a desire to have anything loud anymore. If I did end up in a 300zx TT, I'd probably add a Borla and be done.

I think borla sounds good on everything. Best exhaust out there imo, plus a million mile warranty

Not showing your age, I don't think loud exhausts on 4 and 6 bangers sound good unless it's a sports car and can back up the ricey sound. I really want to throw a Rouch exhaust on my Ferd. It's pricey though...

Definitely. Having grown up in the Honda world I still have a soft spot for a well-built Honda. My back still goes up a bit when I hear someone bash those cars as a whole, but at this point most of the ones from when I was younger aren't clean or in good shape anymore. I can't remember I saw a modified Civic/Integra/Accord from the 90's that had every body panel the same color, or wasn't full of quarter panel rust.

All this talk is making me miss my Accord. It was probably the slowest car on the road but it would out handle most cars on the road. I'll have to dig through my photos on the computer and see if I can find one of it in it's prime just to reminisce.

    This.
Nice deep throaty (shut up, Alex) true duals from a V8 are the sex.
Fart cans are shit. I can't STAND that 'tuner' (ricer) exhaust note.
The only non-V8 exhaust on a car/truck that I like the sound of SOMETIMES is a low-tone, low-pressure exhaust system on a WRX.

Even a lot of the V6 exhausts I've heard lately just sound drone-y. Blech.
