So ingot my exterior lighting planned out. Blitzpro was having a killer deal on lighting switches and free shipping to boot. I also got a switch holder and a double USB port for charging phones and what not.

So I will have 3 lights on the right side of the trailer and 2 off the rear. Now I just need to order a couple dome lights and I'll be ready to start installing everything. I have a blue seas 6 spot fuse panel and battery I had in the garage that will hold me over till I can get a deep cycle.

Got some work done on the trailer today. Pulled it into the hangar and pulled all my duck hunting gear out of it.

Started to take all the panels out. Man was there a lot of gaps on the floor and frame

    And check out this wiring

Took measurements for insulation, haven't decided on which kind of insulation I will be using. But, I will need to spray foam the edge where the floor meets the frame of the trailer.

Next step will be to mock up where I want my lights and start mounting them and do some proper wiring.

So here is a look at my wiring.

I also ran wire for two dome lights that will go to a third switch and power for a fantastic fan that im still waitining to get. But, this will make it easier for me to add those in the future by not having to remove the side panels again. All i will have to do is hook them upto the power and ground then add a fuse in the corresponding slt. As well as a 12v socket and a duel slot USB charging port up forward. Just waiting to figure out what kind of insulation I'm going to use and I still need to get a battery box to mount on the tongue. It will house the old spare battery that I will use for now and my blue seas fuse block. All switches will be held in a three switch holder made for the OTRATTW switches.

Got a new battery box today from a buddy. It's made for a trolling motor battery but I took it off of his hands for him. It has some pretty cool features.

My temporary battery. I will eventually upgrade to something better. But I will be mounting my blue seas fuse panel to the top off the lid.

It has tow integrated circuit breakers. A 10amp for the two cigaret lighter slots on each side of the lid and a 60 amp main for the exterior terminals.

This should make it easier to back up now, I got tired of just guessing what was behind me at night. The problems of having tinted rear window and tinted shell windows.

Got my Insulation put in yesterday, I used sheets of Reflectix that I got from home depot. I didn't need anything more than this since the coldest it gets where I will be using it the most is into the 20s. I already have a 15* sleeping bag plus the mr buddy propane heater. I run that a little bit before I got to bed and when I wake up as needed. I put it on the walls, ceiling and rear ramp under the plywood deck, and all of it was put up with 3m spray adhesive to hold it in place. Still kinda in between on whether or not I will put some under the floor of the trailer..... I guess I will have to wait and see what it is like when it is cold out.

Got my interior lighting in today. With two 6 foot sections, if I need more light all I need to do is attach more with the special no solder connectors that I got.

Nice trailer! Looks like I'm not the only one who gets a few duty day projects in either ;) Are your days at the air station pretty laid back?
Also it looks like you're planning on a long drive to your next station -I doubt the CG will be up for shipping that thing.

    :spy:

    thanks

ahahahha yup . This airsta is pretty dang busy since we ave the largest AOR. With the 6 60s we have on our side it's pretty fast pace. But as a whole it is def pretty laid back.
So I'll be doing a partial ditty, so they don't pay for the trailer on the ferry but I will still get payed back for moving some of our stuff in the end. But I will be doing the ferry thing to Washington and then drive down the rest of it.

So I finally got around to mounting my lights. They come with double sided tape and I mounted them to the roof ribs. Now they are bight but not blinding which is perfect.

This is one strip only, you can see that they put out a very good amount of light for only being 3 feet long

So I had an early Friday today so I got some stuff done. I made a wind deflector for my roof rack out of some scrap aluminum we had down at the hangar. I put it in the paint booth and gave it a couple coats. I also got a pair of free napa deep cycle batteries from a buddy to replace the old truck battery I had been using. One 180 min reserve capacity should do fine for my needs, with the ability to add another one. The other one will be used on my new beavertail 2000 sneak boat.
    Wind deflector.

New digs. It will fit in the trailer at a diagonal or with the bow up on the front wall.

This one will be used with a Newport Vessles 55lb thrust trolling motor

Or I can put it in my truck bed

And with it mounted, it's the perfect width of the rack

Trailer looks awesome man. Love your new hunting yak. That's what morale had over in Petersburg, Ak. I used it all the time.

How did you like it? Did it have a trolling motor on it?
