I was actually looking into getting one of those before I got my cargo trailer. I think that's it's the best of both worlds. A small toy hauler but not to big at the same time

Thanks man. The truck is a work in progress. I feel like the truck is pulling it fine, but the trailer is the max weight that the truck could safely pull. All my weight calculations come out with me under gross, but I haven't found a scale to get actual weights, yet. I don't like how soft the rear suspension is responding to the tongue weight. Need a suspension modification or upgrade. shopping now for ideas. WD bars and Sway bar and trailer brakes are a must. I just installed the UltraGauge so I can watch trans temp. Can't wait to see what it runs at.

That will be the next phase of the build once I transfer this summer and get settled in down in San Diego. I will have a bed fold down from the side that will be the width of the trailer. Then, I will build some kind of work bench for the front of the trailer.

You could do two sets of beds on two levels of etracks where you could sleep four easily

My 14' Tandem Big Tex. The trailer is 1800 lbs + empty. Plus, I had my 700 LB wood splitter in it. Couple those with a couple hundred pounds of chainsaws and tools in the bed, and I figure a gas station pic is appropriate.... ;)

ultra-Gauge does have an upgrade to MX v1.3 that will display trans temps.

Sorry no picture (yeah yeah, I know.."or it didn't happen"), but using a DCSB prerunner, I pulled a Nissan Titan (with a camper shell...probably about 5500lbs) on a car trailer (another 1500lbs?) .....20 miles up a 6% grade. Now.....was I going fast? No....about 25 mph with the flashers on. But it did it and didn't burn anything up. I told my buddy before we started I'm gonna real pissed if this thing burns up my trans.

Purchased last fall. 6' x 13' all aluminum. Lite but it's a sail. Used mostly to pull bikes. Sometimes for dump runs/whatever else. Handy to have!
