:annoyed: not been a good day....

so a few months ago one of my lenses broke. i had purchased an extended warranty ($150) when i got my camera and the lens. i called up the warranty people, they processed and approved the claim and told me to send the lens in. now they have my lens ($30 for shipping) and are telling me that its not covered under the warranty, only the camera itself is covered and BTW it'll be $250 to fix it. IF THE LENS WASN'T COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY THEN WHY WAS THE CLAIM APPROVED IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!? Why didn't they deny the claim originally?!?! Why did they wait until they had my lens in their possession to tell me its not covered?!?! I was very clear that it was the lens that was broken. I'm already out $180, they have my lens taken hostage and are telling me I need to pay another $250 to fix it. The lens isn't even worth that much!

    Friday the 13th. :drevil:

My boss' wife backed into my coworkers car this morning denting his rear quarter panel badly and his tail light. She damaged her bumper and broke her tail light. To top it off he dropped his phone on site and broke the screen. Because of the way it broke he can't even use it for anything except answering calls

I was driving home from class at 9 this morning and missed a call from a potential employer... I called him back and got voicemail and 7 hours later I still haven't heard back from him... Other than that my 13th has been very uneventful.

Same for me except I been dealing with a rotting kitchen at a group home. It's amazing how disgusting kitchen water smells after it's been trapped between the subfloor and underlayment :puke:

 What are you doing, trying for your own "Dirty Jobs" series? Yesterday was talk of mouse droppings, today it's trapped smelly kitchen water. :puke:
