@deeezy : What type/size of mud flaps are those, where can I get them, and how much do they cost?

In the near future, I plan to have installed the following:
Pro Comp Nitro 3" suspension leveling lift kit,
Pro Comp Vertigo Series 40 (17x9, 4.75 BS, and -6 Offset), and
      Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3 285/70R17's.

I even went the safe route and got the Bushwacker pocket style fender flares (black). But, was wondering if I also needed these mud flaps?

You don't need these mudflaps unless your state requires them. They are Rokbloks "universal" mudflaps. I had to retrofit them on because my fenders are trimmed. They are XL's. You can check their website to see how much they were (I don't remember). Keep in mind that your truck will not look the same because my tires are 35's.

I live in Honolulu, so I am thinking I will need them. Your thoughts?

I only have them because my fenders are cut for the 35's. All the trucks with 285's just pass with the stock mudflaps.

Oh, really?!? I should have gotten bigger/wider tires! LOL!

If you go any bigger or wider then you have to do what I did and chop your fenders and everything up.

Thanks for your input and prompt replies! Would you recommend the Bushwacker fender flares, or just take the chance on the stock fenders with the 285's?

It all depend if the top tread of your tires are pass your fender flares. I passed with stock fender flares and 285's but maybe yours will stick out farther. You just have to get your rims and tires on your truck and see what it looks like. I would wait until you get it all installed to see if you need those bushwackers. They don't provide much more coverage than the stock flares anyway.
