DDay Rats and/or mice ate my wiring at the wiring harness some time back, numerous trouble lights on dash. Repairs done. Both vermin are everywhere. Then I go solve slight humming in the cabin fan, and (see pic of filter) the cabin fan hosing had peanut shells and filter pieces in it. Damn. Now I only hear a very slight humming on the highest fan speed. I pulled a lot of peanut shells and filter pieces out of the fan. I know it will need replaced, likely the fan is damaged. I couldnt bend enough to remove the three 5.5mm bolts to drop the fan out of housing. (back fusion) I just pulled/vacuumed all the debris through the filter slot. Anyone know if there is a bearing, fan shaft, something other than just fan that I will need to replace?
