I just towed this 17.5 foot trailer 1,200 miles round trip. I was happy with the way it handled. I was close to the max that I'm comfortable with the 5,800lb load. It was much more noticeable than towing with my F-150 Ecoboost that I traded in, but I was happy. I do have the Tekonsha Brake Controller and Sumo Springs in the rear. I would not have towed this trailer without that equipment. Sway when the big rigs would pass me was a little hairy in construction zones when there is no shoulder. I just did not use cruise control, that way I minimized the transmission hunting so much.
