cat anti theft rods

I bought some 3/8" tool steel rods and had the local muffler shop (Mesa Muffler) weld them along the exhaust pipe to keep people from using a "saws all" or tube cutter to cut through the pipe to steal my new catalytic converters. He did a great job - didn't cost too much - and now I sleep better at night. It is too bad that our "things" tend to own us rather than us own them...
