      We had 2 types of shackles on the towboats I use to work on. Just a regular shackle and pin you tied the pin in so it would not fall out. And the screw shackle that were prized possessions. You see one of those laying around on a barge deck you picked it up.

      @Scooter62 I've used those pin shackles in the past, sure wont go back. These are pretty stout and a good upgrade from the junk I had been using. I'm sure those towboat shackles are huge.
