You are a loyal Toyota Tacoma owner given you have different trucks in your album. :) Also, I can see you are Weather Guard fan as well. Great taste. You think those Weather Guard badges can be removed? I have the exact toolbox on order on the way in a few days.

I almost got the CamLocker, but East to West Coast shipping was the deal breaker. It ended up costing more than a Weather Guard. LMAO.

Thanks man. Yea my third tacoma. I have used Weatherguard boxes on all my trucks not just Toyota's for probably25 years. A little more money up front but well worth it in the long run. I would think they would come off without much problem. Heat them up with a hair dryer and work a piece of COTTON bailing twine or thick monofilament behind them. Good luck, send me a pic when you get it hooked up!

You won't be disappointed that you went with Weatherguard.

I didn't like the Weatherguard clamps. I used regular j-bolts. It works out that right where the mounting slots are in the tray of the box, there are slots in our factory bed rail underneath of it. Run your finger UNDER the bed rail and you'll see what I mean. I can measure my ubolts if you need me to maybe 1/4 or 3/8 so they fit snug in that slot under the rail. They line up almost perfect and is much stronger that way I believe. Let me know I can try to get pics if you need them. Don't get those crazy priced ones. I've been using regular ubolt for years with no issues, like 2$ a piece for good grade 5 or 8.

So I got my Weather Guard delivered today with some scratches/dents here and there. I can live with most, but got this one dent on the top lid that is bothering due to the fact the price paid for it. I hate being OCD.

Funny you say that. Mine came with a dent in the lid and some welding slag that they powdercoated over. I called Weatherguard spoke with a woman named Belle. They sent me a new lid within 3 days And offered to have a factory tech come and install it for me.

      Hello Mark,

      Good morning Sir!

Based on the pictures this is only happening on the lid of the box. Do you see this happening on the body of the box as well? The reason that I asked is because I can send out replacement lid if this is only happening on the lid. Please advise. Thank you.
