No Streaks in mine. If you don't know how to paint then I suggest taking your lights to a body shop. They should be able to paint, clear, and wetsand them for less than $100 a pair.
It's probably illegal, but I doubt anybody would ever notice. My LED bulbs are pretty bright, so there's no problem with seeing my brake lights.
