Honestly, I would go with a TRD intake instead of the K&N. The K&N I got said it was for a 2009, but toyota switched some stuff around under the hood of the tacoma from 08 to 09, and K&N didn't update their instructions, it didn't come with all the bolts nessisary to hook it up and the clamps it came with didn't fit, so if you don't mind a trip to home depot then it'll work alright, the website said about a 10hp gain, I didn't notice much of a difference on my truck.
